Merry Christmas

Marq & I went cross-country skiing for our first time on Christmas Day. It was SO much fun! I am happy to report we BOTH tipped over a couple of times but no injuries :) We finally made it home around nine and had our own Christmas with just the three of us.

We spent the night at my parents for Christmas Eve this year. Marq and Brett stayed up and watched a movie while Chevy and I slept, we were worn out after snowshoeing. We woke up on Christmas morning and opened gifts. I was sad to see that Chevy was scared of her Bumble Ball that I was so excited about, she runs from it :(

Christmas Eve

The morning of Christmas Eve we went snowshoeing up Millcreek Canyon. It was the first time we've gone this season and we were all excited to get out! The snow was gorgeous! I love Millcreek in the winter with the snow and the river. Lots of trails that are hardly touched!

Check out the cool "snow role" we found! Crazy lookin'.

CONGRATULATIONS MARQ!!!

A couple of days before Christmas, Marq received one of his best gifts... the results to the Fundamentals of Engineering exam he took in October. He PASSED!!! :) He also got his grades back from last semester and managed a 3.75 GPA which means he made the Dean's List again! Both are HUGE accomplishments and I am SO proud of him! GOOD JOB BABY!

Thanksgiving

I KNOW!!! I suck at keeping this thing updated! Guess we've been too busy having fun :)

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We got to spend it with both our families and eat twice (which Chevy really appreciated) As always, we missed my sister Melissa & her family but always have fun seeing the other kids.

Two of our other favorite kids came into town for the occasion and we got to spend lots of time with Zeke & Malina. We love being able to have them stay here when they come into town. I came home from work for lunch one day and Marq & Zeke were downstairs working on circuit boards! So cute! Marq will make an amazing dad someday many years from now (sorry Kae :) We also spent lots of time drawing masterpieces on our white board. Thanks for playing' with us bud!

Thanksgiving dinner was missing Aunt Kim and Uncle John. We missed ya and can't wait for your adorable baby boy to arrive! Emily & I took this picture for you of OUR adorable bundles of joy! :)
