Happy New Year!

We had a few friends over for New Years Eve this year and had a low-key evening at home. Amazingly enough, this was Tahna and I's FIRST New Years Eve spent together... EVER! For the past 5 years we have been separated by "our guys". Not this year! This year one of my Resolutions is to spend more time with my Girlfriends. This was the beginning of another amazing "Tahna & Lynzie" year! Watch out! LOL

Our friends Brandon & Lyssa brought there cute kids who we love to hang out with. We had lots of fun playing games while the kids ran around and then watched videos in the guestroom. At midnight we let off lots of really loud fireworks and got Sage out of bed to come outside and bang pans :) She was pretty happy to be a "big girl" this year. It's nice to such cute kids we can borrow from time to time and send them home when we're done with them :)

Happy Birthday Marq

Sunday night we had a birthday party at our house for Marq. We made a peach cobbler with peaches from our tree and homemade ice cream. Thanks for coming up guys!

Ice Skating at Gallivan Plaza

Thanks to all the snow we got over Christmas, Kim & her family were snowed in here rather than heading up to Oregon as planned(lucky for us). We all ended up spending Christmas night in Alpine because the roads were so bad. We stayed up till 1 a.m. playing games and hangin out. We saw Valkyrie the next day, went ice skating and then came back to our house for games & homemade ice cream. Sorry your family missed you Kim but we enjoyed getting to keep you guys for a few extra days :)

Christmas Morning with the Rasmussens

Christmas morning after opening our gifts Marq, Chevy and I headed down to Alpine for Christmas Morning with the Rasmussens. All the siblings were there but Jeff. We were so glad the Emily & Kim both made it up from St. George with there families!

Chevy is getting the hang of opening gifts :)
