Two Months Old

Knox is two months old today. He is smiling a lot and he's so close to laughing. He will be rolling over any day now from back to belly.

Summer Movie

Today we met our friends for a dollar summer movie. We saw The Croods and had lots of fun.

Zoo Day

Today we went to the Zoo to celebrate Kapri's fourth birthday! It was a beautiful sunny day and we had so much fun. I LOVE this picture of these two! People frequently ask if they are twins :)We haven't been to the zoo for way too long so it was fun to see all the animals.We got to see a snake up close and even pet Priscila the desert tortoise. Ledger was stoked! As usual Knox slept through the whole thing but I took a picture to prove that he was there. Ledger adores Kapri! They play so well together (most of the time) and I hope that their friendship lasts a lifetime. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Playdate

Probably the hardest part of this "two kids gig" is juggling my time between them. I have always had oodles of time to spend playing with Ledger and now there's a new kid on the block.Today we went to the park for a play date with our Moms Group and it was so nice to play in the sand and water together like we used to do all time. I need to remember to step away from my "To do" list more often and just enjoy playing with my little buddy. He'll be grown up before I know it! Soon Know will be big enough to play with us! There is a hole in the bottom of ledger's sand cup so we had fun "writing" on the hot cement with water. Ledger made a new buddy at the park. They blew bubbles together and flew his awesome glider. Ledger is becoming quite a social butterfly and he usually makes friends easily. He has so much energy and enthusiasm! He is a great kid and we are very lucky to be part of his family!

Nanna Dog

Chevy has been her usual motherly self since Knox was born.She takes her job very seriously. Knox seems totally comfortable with the dogs and they can even get a big smile out of him.

Today we packed up the kids and headed out to Hood River to spend some more time with Grandma Razz while she is in town. We hit the river front for some fun and Stand Up Paddleboarding.Knox slept the entire time and I headed out for some alone time on the paddleboard. It was so quiet and peaceful :)Ledger loved riding on the board with Aunt Neecee :)He had a blast playing in the water with Malina and Uncle Chico. He swam and paddled hard for hours. Looks like he's gonna be pretty steady on a board :)After the river we all headed to a BBQ with some friends. It was a great day and although we didn't get home until very late I'm so glad we made the trip!

Six Weeks Old

Knox is six weeks old!Looking back the first six weeks have been pretty crazy! We've had our share of challenges, lots of tears and tons of happy memories. Knox is starting to stay awake more during the day if we're at home but if we go out he sleeps. He is starting to nap in his crib which is not his favorite but loves his carseat. He is still sleeping in our room at night and wakes up once or twice at night to eat. He is a great eater and is growing out of the newborn clothes quickly. Bath time is not his favorite but he is starting to hate it less. He is a happy baby and he's starting to give us more smiles everyday. He loves his big brother and his doggies.

Great Grandma Razz

Today Knox got to meet his Great Grandma Rasmussen. She flew into town for a visit and we met at the park to play and visit. He has started to smile and this is one of the first real smiles we've caught on camera.So glad he got to meet one of our favorite people!
