Screwing Around

Ledger has found some interesting ways to stay entertained while I've been busy packing.

He was super excited to find his old baby tub. Maybe we'll take it for sledding this winter ;)

Bayocean Penisula

Since we got our housing situation settled so quickly we had a few days to explore our new surroundings. We drove out to the Tillamook Bay and took a tour of the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Then we drove around the bay and out onto the Bayocean Peninsula.

We took a sandy path over the dune and onto the beach.

It was cloudy but gorgeous! The temp was perfect.

We love the ocean!!!

After the beach we drove down to Cape Mears and walked out to the lighthouse.

Cape Mears was breathtaking!

Needless to say we missed our little man immensely! Sunday was Father's Day and when we Skyped with Ledger he and I both cried :( Other than the little hole in our hearts the weekend was magical :)

I am grateful for the amazing weekend with Marq and we are even more excited to make this beautiful place our new home!

The New Digs

Today Marq & I signed the contract on our new home... just follow the pine trees up the mountain and into the woods :) We LOVE the big deck looking out into the forest, complete with a HOTTUB!!! The scenery is gorgeous and we are looking forward to exploring the property. It even comes with our own slide! I don't know who will be more excited... Ledger or the dogs!
