Labor & Delivery

Yesterday after my normal workout at the gym my vision started to get fuzzy. I felt okay but laid down for Ledger's nap with him and felt fine when I woke up. Today after doing a little weeding in the yard my vision went crazy again. I called my midwives office and they asked me to come in. After some deliberation at the doctor's office I was sent over to Labor & Delivery to be monitored. Other than my high blood pressure, low platelets and a mild headache everything looked fine. They kept me there for a few hours as a precaution for monitoring and then I was sent home to rest, collect some labs and return in 24 hours.

Happy Easter

I woke Ledger up yesterday, whispered in his ear that the Easter Bunny had come and he started to giggle :) Half awake he ran out of his room to find a trail of carrots leading to his Easter basket.

He hunted for eggs all over the house but he wanted to open each egg and eat the candy as he went.

There were even eggs outside on our deck.

He found lots of eggs! I think maybe the Easter Bunny thought we needed candy for two kids this year.

Marq gave Ledger an old cast candy machine that was his when he was little. Putting money in for each piece of candy slowed him down a bit but he had lots of change in his piggy bank.

After all the candy we snuggled for awhile and watched a movie.

Then we went to lunch at Kim's in-laws house and had an Easter egg with Ledger's cousins and their cousins.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

Today we spent the afternoon in the sunshine, smelling rows and rows of tulips.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the kids had lots of fun running through the flowers and playing.

We went with Cutler, Kapri, Quinncy & Kimmie.
