Oink Oink!

Last weekend Marq & I attended our first Pig Roast. It was definitely interesting... I was a little uneasy with the whole thing. I had a LOT of questions about the process and I think my concerned expression amused some of the guys. They cooked two pigs, one over an oven made of bricks and one in a special pig-roasting box. We all had a great time and everyone seemed to enjoy the meat. I could only handle a tiny taste of Marq's BUT I DID TRY IT! Anyway, we had a lot of fun here are the pics.

I was reminded this week of how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken away. I am a big believer of living in the now. Living life to it's fullest and enjoying each moment we have. I am so thankful to have Marq & Chevy in my life! Although we are just starting out our life together and we have so much left to do, see, experience and accomplish "the present moment is the field on which the game of life happens. " It may just be the 3 of us, but for now... this is exactly where we want to be. At times our lives get crazy, but it's OUR life. We are a family!
