*REDUCE*REUSE*RECYCLE*I finally found reusable grocery bags at my grocery store! I ALWAYS ask for them and they are ALWAYS sold out! This week I got 3! They were only $1 a piece at Harmon's AND you get a 5-cent "bag rebate" every time you use them. Eventually they'll pay for themselves, conserve oil, minimize landfill waste and pollution, and help preserve our environment.
Here's a great REUSE tip...
For the plastic grocery bags you've already got laying around... REUSE! You can use them to cover shoes when traveling or as doggy poop bags :) Many trails have a baggy dispenser, take your extras and donate them for other dog owners to reuse.
