New Arrival

On October 17th we announced to our families that we are expecting another baby in June!

4-Wheeling

We had GORGEOUS fall weather this weekend so we spent as much time outside as we could. Marq got Ledger's 4-wheeler out and he is getting really good at steering.

He drove all the way up to our mailbox, all over the hazelnut orchard and back home. We are so happy we have the space for him to explore and be an active, adventurous little boy! There are a couple short videos of this little madman over on the right in our new Family Video Clips bar. Just click on the video and it should pop right up.

Trick or Treat

Ledger LOVE, LOVE, LOVES trick-or-treating! He is a man on a mission, even when the older kids were tired he wanted to keep going. "Another house" he'd say.

I fear we have created a Candy Monster.

Rasmussen Halloween Party

This year we were lucky enough to have lots of family in town for Halloween.

Marq's parents came up for a week and had so much fun celebrating with HALF of their grandkids. Sounds like they should move to the Northwest huh? ;)

Marq's brother Chris and his family came down and stayed with us for the weekend. Ledger and Carter had so much fun playing together.

On Sunday we had a big family party at our house with lots of food and the traditional no-handed donut eating contest.

It was so great to have so many of us all together and somehow we squeezed all 18 of us into our little house. Thanks to everyone who came!

Rasmussens

That's a lot of Rasmussens in one pool!

We took Marq's family to the same pool we found a few weeks ago. Everyone had a blast today playing in the pool and waterslide.

Celebrating

Yesterday Marq took us out for dinner to celebrate the new baby. He chose the restaurant specifically for Ledger :)

He loved watching the chef cook the food and throw the utensils. We ended up throwing his chopsticks all over the place. We had a great time!

Saturday

Today we ventured into Portland to check out Powell's Books, a huge new & used bookstore that Portland is known for. We specifically wanted to find Ledger some books to help him understand the new baby that is coming.

We found a great book about babies and checked out the downtown playground. Fun Family Saturday.

Ledger is still having a rough time going to the Kid's Club at my gym while I workout so today we went to visit daddy & Koda at work afterwards to cheer him up.

Koda loves to go to work and everyone at the office loves him.

Surprise

Today we surprised Ledger with swimming at a great indoor pool we found. It is surprisingly hard to find a good indoor pool here like they have in Utah.

This one had a waterslide and Ledger LOVED it! He kept saying "do it again!"

They did have a big fountain structure but nothing like the play set pools in Utah.

We had a blast!

Children's Museum

One of the things I love about the Children's Museums is that it seems like everytime we go Ledger finds something new that interests him. He still loves the grocery store, the vet clinic, the light-bright, the face paint and the dig pit EVERY time but this time it was all about the ticket booth in the theatre. Funny kid.
