Ledger loves to tell me which colors he wants and points exactly where he wants them.
They come in really easy-to-use squeeze tubes now and they are washable so clean up is easy.
As a mom I am trying hard relax about the messes and have fun playing, experimenting and enjoying these precious years with my son.
We took Marq to the airport, he has to go to California to deliver the machine he designed and built for Intel. 
We are always sad to see him go.

Ledger LOVES the elephants and our zoo has a lot of them, including a baby elephant named Lily.
This gorgeous polar bear was resting right up near the glass, she reminded me of Chevy.
The seals are always super playful and fun to watch. They are so big and close to the glass they make Ledger nervous sometimes.
I am SO happy to have her and her sweet baby girl here!!!
I picked them up at the airport and we headed straight out to Hood River where I gave her the quick tour.
We stopped at Multnomah Falls to see the amazing view.
Ledger loves sitting by the pool, wading his feet and pouring water back into the pool with buckets & toys.
He loves playing with the kids and the dogs like being with us although none of them want to swim.
The pool isn't quite up to an acceptable temp yet for the adults but the kids don't seem to care.
They splashed and had water fights. We had a great time!
Ledger had no problem climbing the big slide and wasn't even scared. No Fear in this kid which scares me to death!
I love this shot! It captures the fun these two have together :) We are so very, very thankful to have neighbors next door that we LOVE and have so much fun with. We are also very thankful for good weather and a pool :)
