Fun in the Sun

Today we met Kim, Kapri & Quinncy for a play date at the splash pad. We aren't ready to say goodbye to summer yet and today was warm & sunny! Then we hit the grocery store for camping supplies :)

Biking

Marq finally got our bike trailer fixed and we took the family out for a ride. The dogs love running along side and Ledger loves to ride along.

Grandparents Day

In honor of Grandparents Day, Ledger painted pictures for all his grandparents.We walked it up to the mailbox... and sent them off :)

Dinner at the Splash Pad

One of our favorite splash pads has a pizza restaraunt on one side. It's perfect! Ledger is starting to venture out on his own more and he had a blast making friends and playing in the water while mommy & daddy relaxed. It was almost like a date!!!

Oregon Heritage Farm

When I was little we lived on my grandpa Alan's apple orchard. It was a wonderful place to be a little kid. I remember him working in the orchards and letting us pick all the apples we could eat. We took Ledger to the gift shop for some fresh apple cider and spent the morning playing on the apple bounce house. Every year the fall harvest reminds me of my grandpa. He was a warm, funny, amazing man and I miss him.

Our Neighbors are Asses

Ledger loves to go for walks and meet the animals that live around our house. The dogs also enjoy smelling all sorts of animals. We have donkeys, goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, lots of squirrels, an occasional skunk and lots of deer.

Poor guy has been having some stomach issues for the past few days but things started to get miserable yesterday after we went to the gym.

He doesn't seem to have a fever but I had to wake him up this morning at 11:00.

We are trying to keep him hydrated, clean and comfortable.

Hopefully whatever it is, it will pass soon. In the meantime, sick kids are SO snuggley :)

Sunflowers

One of our favorite things about living in the middle of no where is the farm stands. Ledger loves to put the money in the box. Pretty flowers for our house!

Labor Day

Fun play date today with Ledger's cousins.

Henry Hagg Lake

Since I am not yet ready to let go of Summer we headed out to soak up some sun while we still can.This creek is one of my favorite spots to play.Ledger had a blast playing in the creek. He swam, threw rocks and explored. Chevy loved the cold water and swimming with Ledger. Koda loved patrolling the shoreline. We had a fun adventure.
