On Monday Ledger and I were both released from the hospital. We took our time that morning getting packed up and ready. The hospitals photographer came in and took some really cute pictures and then we headed home.
When we first got home the doggers were very excited to see me and I had missed them too! Marq snuck in behind me with the baby covered up in his carseat and they didn't even notice him. We played for awhile and let them calm down and after awhile the carseat started to make noise :) At first they thought the noises were coming from the backyard but it didn't take them long to figure out there was something in the carseat. We put it down on the floor, still covered, and let them sniff around it until they calmed down. We took the cover off and let them look at the baby and do some more sniffing while keeping their distance from the baby. They've both done really well so far and Ledger doesn't seem to mind them at all. I'm sure that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, before long they'll both want to sleep in his room and mom & dad will be old news :)
